Ever wonder why health care in this country has become so murderously expensive? Well, one reason is Marco Antonio Fuentes. The Fresno Bee reports: “Doctors say Marco Antonio Fuentes is well enough to go home today. At last… Fuentes has spent 374 days at Community Regional Medical Center, the longest uninterrupted stay by a patient at the Fresno acute-care hospital, according to staff recollection. Doctors struggled to keep him alive since Fuentes was admitted to the hospital Dec. 26, 2010, with an excruciating belly ache.”

“Fuentes’ abdomen was full of infection.” [That he brought with him from Mexico.] “Surgeons could do little that first day but drain the abscesses and sew him up, said physician assistant Neydi Salaverri-Edmonds. Necrotizing pancreatitis, an infection of the pancreas, had eaten away tissues, including his intestines, she said. Doctors suspect Fuentes, 35, had gallstones that developed into a gallbladder infection, which was left untreated and progressed.” [Full story →]

The most serious issue facing the United States in 2012 is the illegal alien problem. We are on the verge of turning from a majority White nation to a majority non-White nation. Just how big a problem is this? Just take one look at California with its gigantic budget deficit, its insane legislature and its ever-increasing taxes, all of which stems from its non-White majority. California will go bankrupt in the near future because it is trying to provide a First World lifestyle to millions of Third World people.

This makes it critically important to elect a president, who is not only opposed to more illegal immigration, but who will stop Birthright citizenship, which has been turning millions of “next generation” illegals into citizens without our consent. Technically, Ron Paul is still the best on the illegal immigration issue of the remaining four Republicans because he opposes Birthright Citizenship, which gives us the Anchor Baby problem.

The 20 million illegal aliens in the US today are going to produce 40 million Anchor Babies unless we change the law in the immediate future. Only Ron Paul says that he will tackle this issue. Ron Paul also believes in State’s Rights (the 10th Amendment) so he would not interfere with states passing laws like SB1070. Paul also believes in enforcing the law. Since 20 million Latinos are in the US illegally, that means deporting them. [Full story →]

It seems we’ve taken yet another step along the road to a Third World dictatorship. The Washington Times reports: “President Obama used his recess appointment powers Wednesday to name a head for the controversial Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and three new members to the National Labor Relations Board — moves Republican lawmakers said amounted to an unconstitutional power grab The president acted just a day after the Senate held a session — breaking with at least three different precedents that said the Senate must be in recess for at least three days for the president to exercise his appointment power. Mr. Obama himself was part of two of those precedents, both during his time in the Senate and again in 2010 when one of his administration’s top constitutional lawyers made the argument for the three-day waiting period to the Supreme Court.”

“Mr. Obama tapped former Ohio Attorney General Richard Cordray to head the CFPB, and named three others to the labor board — all of which had been stymied by congressional Republicans who said Mr. Obama is accruing too much power to himself through those two agencies. In strikingly sharp language, Republicans said the Senate considers itself still in session for the express purpose of blocking recess appointments, and the move threatened to become a declaration of war against Congress.”

Will those gutless wonders in the GOP ever do anything about Obama’s flaunting of the Constitution? They didn’t even have the backbone to demand to see his birth certificate (and that green document that Obama produced was yet one more fraud if anyone cares to research it). An article in the Guardian reports “More than a third of homes in England are ‘under-occupied,’ putting pressure on younger generations as older people remain in their properties for longer, a study has suggested. The Intergenerational Foundation, which released the report, called for tax breaks to encourage older people to downsize.”

And when that doesn’t work, at what point does the left-wing government begin forcibly dragging old people out of their homes and forcing them into “assisted living” facilities where they are warehoused until their Jamaican or disgruntled lesbian orderlies “assist” them to die one night with a pillow over the face, which will free up an “over-occupied” bed for the next senior citizen hustled out of his “under-occupied” house. The Mexican conquest of the Southwest has been slightly slowed by a judge’s ruling in Phoenix although it remains to be seen whether anybody will pay any attention to it. The Obama regime has demonstrated that they’re simply going to ignore any law or legal obligation to deport illegal aliens.

A recent news article reports: “An administrative law judge ruled Tuesday that a Tucson school district’s ethnic studies program violates state law, agreeing with the findings of Arizona’s public schools chief. Judge Lewis Kowal’s ruling marked a defeat for the Tucson Unified School District, which appealed the findings issued in June by Superintendent of Public Instruction John Huppenthal. Kowal’s ruling, first reported by The Arizona Daily Star, said the district’s Mexican-American Studies program violated state law by having one or more classes designed primarily for one ethnic group, promoting racial resentment and advocating ethnic solidarity instead of treating students as individuals.” [Full story →]

Why don’t the last remaining productive White people in California march on Sacramento and burn the legislative buildings down? An article from Bloomberg.com reports: “The chief psychiatrist for California’s overcrowded prison system was paid $838,706 in 2010, more than any other state employee that year, payroll figures released today show. The doctor, whose name wasn’t released, had a salary range of $261,408 to $308,640, according to data released today by California Controller John Chiang. The total compensation was raised by bonuses or payout of unused vacation time, according to the controller’s office.” [Full story →]

Anyone familiar with the real Martin Luther King Jr. knows a man far removed from the patron “saint” of liberalism that he has become today. Every January 15th, we hear excerpts from his speeches and we are told how “great” he was. Invariably quotes from King’s “I have a dream speech” are played. In the most important line in that speech, King proclaimed that people should be judged by the content of their character and not the “color of their skin.” Let’s dissect that speech and determine if King really was a “great man” or if his very words make him a hypocrite and a phony.

If King truly wanted people judged by the content of their character, then why didn’t he urge the government and universities to create completely color-blind tests for jobs and admission policies for higher education?? This is exactly the sort of policy that would result from King’s most famous speech if taken literally —and if King were telling the truth. If King, the liberals and the liberal media truly wanted equality of opportunity, this could have been achieved almost overnight by requiring a written exam for each job and giving the job to the person with the highest score. Until recently I taught at a predominantly black high school in a southeastern state.

The mainstream press gives a hint of what conditions are like in black schools, but only a hint. Expressions journalists use like “chaotic” or “poor learning environment” or “lack of discipline” do not capture what really happens. There is nothing like the day-to-day experience of teaching black children and that is what I will try to convey.

One of the most immediately striking things about my students was that they were loud. They had little conception of ordinary decorum. It was not unusual for five students to be screaming at me at once.

It did no good to try to quiet them and white women were particularly inept at trying. I sat in on one woman’s class as she begged the children to pipe down. They just yelled louder so their voices would carry over hers. [Full story →]

In 2008, Ron Paul was running against the liberal Republican, John McCain. McCain had recently made himself a pariah in conservative politics by teaming up with Ted Kennedy for the 2007 McCain-Kennedy Amnesty Bill. Despite that, Ron Paul supposedly only got 8 percent in the 2008 New Hampshire primary.

Fast forward to 2012. Ron Paul is running against another liberal Republican, Mitt Romney in a crowded political field. Despite worse circumstances, Paul gets 23 percent in the final vote count, almost 300 percent better than in 2008 even though Ron Paul has not changed any of his pro-Constitution policies one bit.

Shortly after the 2008 New Hampshire primary an alert citizen noticed that screen captures, he had made, of early vote totals that had been broadcast on the local news, suggested that someone had swapped the vote totals from Ron Paul and John McCain. Even more damning evidence of vote fraud surfaced a little bit later: People in several small towns where Ron Paul had been given zero votes stepped forward to say that they had voted for Paul. In one case an entire family voted for Paul, but he still got an official zero vote count for that town. [Full story →]

GOP Primary Is Now a Two Man Race: Ron Paul vs. Romney

One honest political pundit observed before the New Hampshire primary election that Mitt Romney was expected to win big in New Hampshire and that he really needed to hit it out of the park to impress people. A feeble win by Romney would be almost as bad as a loss.

As it turns out with 25 percent of the vote reporting, Romney has 35 percent and Ron Paul has 25 percent of the vote. This is very far from any sort of a decisive victory although I’m sure Romney and the neocons will try to spin it that way. Note that Romney got nowhere near a majority of Republican voters. This Romney “victory” is like damning someone with faint praise.

Even worse for Romney is the fact that Ron Paul’s strong second place finish means that it will be a two-man race from now on. The empty suit Romney will have to face off against the pro-Constitution idealist Ron Paul. Maybe Paul will finally get enough time to actually say something in future debates.

The BIG winner in New Hampshire is Ron Paul. He’s had two good finishes in a row and Romney is NOT significantly ahead of him. The mainstream media may try to spin things differently, but even they know Romney had a very weak performance and the real story in New Hampshire is Ron Paul. [Full story →]

A recent CBS poll shows that Ron Paul has as good a chance of beating Obama as Mitt Romney. For the last six months, we’ve been beaten over the head with the dubious claim that Romney stood the best chance. In fact, most people when asked why they were supporting Romney could not think of a single issue that he supported. Instead all they could say was that he could beat Obama.

Romney however is a Republican liberal, and every attempt to run a Republican liberal against a Democrat liberal HAS FAILED. The liberal voters prefer a real Democrat liberal over a Republican, and the conservative voters either stay home or vote for a Third Party candidate. The dismal performance of RINO John McCain versus Obama immediately comes to mind. And then there was the compromising weakling moderate Bob Dole, who couldn’t dislodge Bill Clinton from the presidency.

The CBS article notes “Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney and Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas, run neck-and-neck with President Obama in a general-election matchup, according to a new CBS News poll released late on Monday that shows the two front-runners in Tuesday’s New Hampshire GOP primary running stronger against the president than their fellow Republicans.” [Full story →]

An article in the U.K. Sun reports: “POLICE and paramedics try in vain to save a teenager stabbed to death amid crowds of Boxing Day sales shoppers yesterday. The 18-year-old is said to have been killed after a fight erupted between rival gangs over which trainers to steal from a sportswear shop in London’s jam-packed Oxford Street. Cops recovered several weapons including a flick knife from the scene. Eleven suspects were held.”

“One witness told how a feral gang shoved parents and children aside as they chased down the terrified victim before murdering him in broad daylight.

Now that the holiday season is over, let’s take a look at how Obama and his family spent Christmas.

The Los Angeles Times reports: “It’s not clear when President Obama will decide it’s safe to walk away from the latest congressional impasse and join his family for their annual holiday retreat. But a visit to the vacation spot Tuesday afternoon confirmed that First Lady Michelle Obama and daughters Sasha and Malia must be having a far better week than the president.”

“They’re staying in a five-bedroom home sandwiched between a canal and Kailua Bay on the east side of Oahu. Once he tears himself away from House Speaker John Boehner, the president can look forward to drinking in the 80-degree sunshine and gazing at the green sea turtles. Neighbors seemed ambivalent about the inconvenience that goes with having the first family move onto your street, if only temporarily. Mary Bibby, whose house is opposite the security checkpoint, is spending her fourth straight Christmas in proximity to the Obamas. One year, she says, she shook the president’s hand at a nearby church service. Bibby could live without the bomb-sniffing dogs constantly checking her car. Asked about Obama’s performance in office, she pointed a thumb earthward (thumbs down). ‘I don’t think he’s healing any of the ails that bother people so much,’ she said.”

I know it’s a couple weeks late for this, but I just came across it, and there is something so quintessentially American about this story I just had to share it.

The DNAInfo.com blog in New York reports: “Thousands of drunken Santas terrorized Lower Manhattan when they flooded into the neighborhood for SantaCon earlier this month, openly flouting public drinking and urination laws. Angry residents attended Community Board 1′s Monday night meeting to complain about the latest incarnation of the annual pub crawl, whose participants have been allowed to grow more rowdy every year, they say.”

“‘There was public urination, people vomiting all over the place, open containers and no police,’ said John Fratta, chairman of the Seaport/Civic Center Committee which plans to send an angry missive to Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Police Commissioner Ray Kelly and the 1st Precinct complaining about the lack of enforcement during SantaCon. The committee said that the NYPD devoted more resources to Occupy Wall Street than to SantaCon, and asked police for a better response at the neighborhood’s next expected pub-crawl on St. Patrick’s Day.” [Full story →]

Despite recent polls showing Ron Paul in first or second place and Rick Santorum in a distant third, we are being told that Santorum has shot forward to a virtual tie for first place with Romney despite having little money, few volunteers and extremely poor name recognition. An article from the Atlantic Wire.com reported: “A new poll from Public Policy Polling shows that Ron Paul has taken the lead in the Iowa caucus race, while Newt Gingrich’s support is fading fast.”

Adding to the suspicious results, we’re being told that Romney and Santorum literally finished within a tiny handful of votes. Now how likely is it that Romney and Santorum would finish within four or even fourteen votes of each other?

Ron Paul has an army of volunteers, and he’s raised $13 million. Santorum however has been a truly fringe candidate with a grand total of $1.3 million raised. Does anyone believe that a total unknown would shoot to first place with no money for political ads? Or is it more likely someone stole a large chunk of Ron Paul’s votes and transferred them to Santorum? [Full story →]

North Dakota’s largest city has averaged fewer than two homicides a year since 2005, and there’s not been a single international terrorism prosecution in the last decade. But that hasn’t stopped authorities in Fargo and its surrounding county from going on an $8 million buying spree to arm police officers with the sort of gear once reserved only for soldiers fighting foreign wars.

“Every city squad car is equipped today with a military-style assault rifle, and officers can don Kevlar helmets able to withstand incoming fire from battlefield-grade ammunition. And for that epic confrontation—if it ever occurs—officers can now summon a new $256,643 armored truck, complete with a rotating turret.
