Bush wants Amnesty

According to Fox News: “The latest battle in the war on illegal immigration isn’t over the smuggling of undocumented workers, it’s over the trash they leave behind… Government officials and border activists say the garbage dumped in the desert by illegal immigrants and their smugglers is staggering. And the cleanup is costing taxpayers millions. In 2006 alone, more than 1.18 million pounds of trash was collected along southern Arizona border, many in the meeting spots where immigrants rest, change clothes and wait to hitch a ride further north with a smuggler… ‘You can find everything,’ said Shela McFarlin, special assistant for international programs at the Arizona Bureau of Land Management. ‘Blankets, airline tickets, Bibles, wedding pictures, photos of children, school reports, because clearly people don’t tend to throw away everything they’ve brought with them’ ”

And what are these Mexicans fleeing from? An overpopulated Third World nation full of Mexicans and run by Mexicans. And what will California and the rest of the US become if illegal immigration continues? That’s right: Northern Mexico.

Back to Fox News: “Arizona officials have spent approximately $4.4 million over five years to clean up the mess, that continues to build with each crossing. Nearly $1 million was spent for 2007 from a base BLM appropriation… The Border Patrol’s Tucson sector, which covers most of the Arizona border, doesn’t have statistics about how many people cross through each year, but on average, agents apprehend 1,500 people a day, with 378,000 undocumented immigrants caught in 2007 alone.” Full story »

Is War With Iran Imminent?

This time, it’s more than a rumor…

by Justin Raimondo

The shooting has already started in the Persian Gulf – and chances are we’ll be at war with Iran before President Bush’s term is up. An American ship under contract with the U.S. Navy – the Western Venture – claims it was in international waters when Iranian speedboats approached and failed to answer radio calls. Shots were fired on the American side. Iran denies the whole thing. Yet you’ll recall that in the last incident, involving the capture of British sailors, the story about being in international waters was the same – except, it turns out, they weren’t in international waters, but in disputed waters, just as we speculated in this space. There’s no reason to expect anything different this time. Clearly, the U.S. and Britain are trying to trigger a new conflict with the most brazen provocations, and they don’t really care how it happens – only that it does.

The indications of an imminent attack – the latest incident, the steady stream of accusations coming from the U.S. regarding Iranian influence in Iraq, the nuclear charade, etc. – have suddenly taken a more ominous turn with the recent statement of America’s top military officer that the U.S. is weighing military action against Iran. The Washington Post reports:

“The nation’s top military officer said yesterday that the Pentagon is planning for ‘potential military courses of action’ as one of several options against Iran, criticizing what he called the Tehran government’s ‘increasingly lethal and malign influence’ in Iraq. Admiral Michael Mullen, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said a conflict with Iran would be ‘extremely stressing’ but not impossible for U.S. forces, pointing to reserve capabilities in the Navy and Air Force.”

Speaking of malign influences: since when does an American military officer make foreign policy pronouncements, as if he were the president? It’s an indication of the advances militarism has made in what used to be a republic that no one has so much as blinked at the brazenness of such blatant Caesarism.

The reasons for the uptick in the rhetorical and physical assault on Iran by the Americans are entirely due to domestic politics, not anything occurring on the ground in the region. Full story »

Hillary Has Bad Day, Despite Getting GOP Votes

Mainstream media finally admits importance of Operation Chaos.

by James Buchanan

Hillary has more wrinkles than delegates

Hillary suffered a significant loss in the larger state North Carolina while the Indiana race is practically a tie. A CNN article reports “Sen. Barack Obama claimed victory in North Carolina on Tuesday, but the contest in Indiana was too close to call.” At the start of the day, Obama had 1748 delegates with Hillary trailing by 134. As of right now, one website notes the count is 1842 for Obama with Hillary trailing by 150 delegates. (It will take a day or two for all the pledged delegates to announce.)

Significantly, CNN has recognized the efforts of Rush Limbaugh. The GOP nomination was effectively decided in early February. The Republicans have had nothing to do since then so Rush Limbaugh has ordered his “ditto-heads” to go out and vote for the worse Democrat, Hillary. A different CNN article notes “How big of an impact did Rush Limbaugh’s ‘Operation Chaos’ have in Indiana? Did GOP voters really cross over to create havoc in the Democratic primary by voting for Hillary Clinton, as he’d asked his listeners to do? Roughly one in ten of the state’s Democratic primary voters were Republican… For whatever reason, self-identified conservative voters did overwhelmingly support Clinton – two out of three cast their votes for the New York senator.”

So if we subtract out the “Limbaugh voters,” Hillary would have lost North Carolina by an even bigger margin, and the near-tie in Indiana would become a decisive win for Obama. None of this should come as a surprise. Obama beat Hillary in eleven elections in a row –before “Operation Chaos” began. And most of those victories were landslides. Full story »

Beating a Dead Horse: Hillary Can’t Win Primary

by James Buchanan

Two months ago, we were told HIllary would be finised if she couldn’t “win big” in Texas and Ohio. Well, she didn’t. She was effectively eliminated back then. The media however is pretending that she still stands a chance to keep ordinary Americans glued to their TVs.

One news article reports ”
Unless the Rev. Jeremiah Wright has caused Barack Obama more damage than is evident, it’s impossible to see how the senator can lose the popular vote, the delegate race or the Democratic nomination to Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton. Specifically, I’ve calculated the possible popular vote in eight of the nine remaining primaries (excluding Guam), giving Clinton the benefit of every doubt, and can’t see how she gains more than 150,000 votes on Obama — not enough to catch him except in the most extreme circumstances…. The RealClearPolitics.com tally of past primaries gives Obama a lead of more than 501,000, excluding results in party-disqualified Florida and Michigan.”

Just a couple weeks ago, the media acted as though Hillary’s single-digit victory in Pennsylvania would keep her in the race. If anything, it confirmed that she could NOT win the remaining primaries with the large margins she needs to overcome Obama’s lead.

Now our intelligence is being further insulted with the media frenzy about North Carolina and Indiana. Virtually all polls have predicted that Obama will win the larger state of North Carolina while Hillary has a small lead in Indiana. Once again, Obama’s lead is not seriously being threatened. What the Iraq War Is About

The Bush regime has quagmired America into a sixth year of war in Afghanistan and Iraq with no end in sight. The cost of these wars of aggression is horrendous. Official U.S. combat casualties stand at 4,538 dead. Officially, 29,780 U.S. troops have been wounded in Iraq.

On April 17, 2008, AP News reported that a new study released by the RAND Corporation concludes that “some 300,000 U.S. troops are suffering from major depression or post-traumatic stress from serving in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and 320,000 received brain injuries.”

On April 21, 2008, OpEdNews.com reported that an internal e-mail from Gen. Michael J. Kussman, undersecretary for health at the Veterans Administration, to Ira Katz, head of mental health at the VA, confirms a McClatchy Newspaper report that 126 veterans per week commit suicide. To the extent that the suicides are attributable to the war, more than 500 deaths should be added to the reported combat fatalities each month. Full story »

California Faces Water Rationing

Looks like rice isn’t the only thing that faces rationing in the Golden State. A San Francisco Gate news article reports “Two parched years - punctuated by the driest spring in at least 150 years - could force districts across California to ration water this summer as policymakers and scientists grow increasingly concerned that the state is on the verge of a long-term drought. State water officials reported Thursday that the Sierra Nevada snowpack, the source of a huge portion of California’s water supply, was only 67 percent of normal, due in part to historically low rainfall in March and April.”

The article notes “With many reservoirs at well-below-average levels from the previous winter and a federal ruling limiting water pumped from the Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta the new data added a dimension to a crisis already complicated by crumbling infrastructure, surging population and environmental concerns. ‘We’re in a dry spell if not a drought,’ said California Secretary for Resources Mike Chrisman. ‘We’re in the second year, and if we’re looking at a third year, we’re talking about a serious problem.’”

Of course the ten million Third World immigrants currently in California might be blamed for drastically increasing the demand for water, but that wouldn’t be politically correct. The truth must stay locked up in a box buried ten feet deep at all times in PC America. Full story »

British Nationalist Party (BNP) Wins 100 Council Seats!!!!

bnp-takes-eight-steps-forward-final.jpgOur Quiet Revolution has taken EIGHT steps forward (6.30am 2nd May)

Good Morning, Good Morning!

It was a long night, but worth staying up just to see Geoff Hoon’s face as he announced that the BNP had polled ‘disappointingly’ well in Derby and gained its first councillor in Amber Valley.

The state of play as I write this at 6.30 this morning (just three house sleep) is that we have made eight gains, with new BNP councillors in Amber Valley (2), Nuneaton & Bedworth (2), Rotherham (2), Pendle and Thurrock.

Today, watch out for results in Burnley, Stoke and Epping Forest as well as, of course, for the London Assembly where the huge turn-out might dash the BNP’s hopes of a taking a seat although this will go down to the wire.

The results in Carlisle were another step forward. Brian Allan increased his vote although falling well short of victory in Currock, and overall our performance in the wards we fought was satisfactory and provides something to build on.

The BNP vote across the country last night shows that we are growing in significance within the political arena and reports of near misses in a number of seats are now filtering through.

I’m off on Freedom duty now , but you can keep up-to-date with the results as they come in today on Simon Darby’s excellent blog here. [Also see BNP Home Page, Stormfront Britain and Google News for all the latest updates].

Reported by Martin Wingfield, Editor of the British National Party’s newspaper, Freedom.

Update:

“Before today, the BNP held 84 council seats at all levels. With almost all results in, this figure has now reached 100, and could still exceed that number!”

WMC-TV in Memphis reports: “When you call 911, you expect help immediately. Lisa, a Memphis resident, got anything but. ‘Our lives were in danger,’ she said. ‘Our lives were at stake, and our lifeline was severed.’ Severed, she said, because during a recent call to 911, the operator fell asleep while she was on the line.”

The news article goes on: “Action News 5 obtained a copy of the call through an open records request. It begins as Lisa calls 911 and a Memphis operator comes on the line. Lisa tells the operator she was robbed at gunpoint earlier in the evening, and that she now hears someone trying to break into her home. ‘I just heard tapping on my window,’ she tells the operator. ‘I need somebody over here.’ The line goes silent. As Lisa continues to explain her situation, the dispatcher does not respond - not for just 15 or 30 seconds, but for one full minute. Then, sounds of snoring can be heard on the line… ‘Are you there?’ Lisa asks. ‘Yes ma’am,’ the operator replies. ‘What is the, um, what’s your address?’ Lisa can then be heard hanging up the phone.”

Didn’t this happen on an episode of Reno 911?

Either the caller was so disgusted, she hung up or perhaps the guy, who was trying to break in, strangled her and hung up the phone as a courtesy. I wonder how many of that dispatcher’s calls wound up that way!! Full story »

Jonathan Pollard Worst Spy in US History

Remember Jonathan Pollard? The Jewish/Israeli spy from the 1980s who did so much damage to this country with his treachery that even the pro-Zionist United States government refuses to let him out of prison? Well, apparently the Pollard example didn’t deter Israel from biting the hand that feeds it and continuing to spy on us.

A recent news article reports “The elderly New Jersey man arrested last week on charges of spying for Israel years ago was probably still working for the Jewish state’s espionage service in tandem with another, as yet unidentified spy, former American intelligence officials say. Ben-Ami Kadish, now 84, was employed as a mechanical engineer at a U.S. Army weapons center in New Jersey when he allegedly supplied his Israeli handler with classified military documents, according to charges filed last week.”

That means this Jew has been a spy for Israel for decades. Some people naively think that Israel spying on us is no big deal. There’s a big problem though. Israel is suspected of SELLING many of the secrets they steal from us to the Red Chinese and other governments hostile to the US. Full story »

The Emerging Surveillance State

by Rep. Ron Paul

Bobsledding toward tyranny

Last month, the House amended the 1978 Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) to expand the government’s ability to monitor our private communications. This measure, if it becomes law, will result in more warrantless government surveillance of innocent American citizens.

Though some opponents claimed that the only controversial part of this legislation was its grant of immunity to telecommunications companies, there is much more to be wary of in the bill. In the House version, Title II, Section 801 extends immunity from prosecution of civil legal action to people and companies including any provider of an electronic communication service, any provider of a remote computing service, “any other communication service provider who has access to wire or electronic communications,” any “parent, subsidiary, affiliate, successor, or assignee” of such company, any “officer, employee, or agent” of any such company, and any “landlord, custodian, or other person who may be authorized or required to furnish assistance.” The Senate version goes even further by granting retroactive immunity to such entities that may have broken the law in the past.

The new FISA bill allows the federal government to compel many more types of companies and individuals to grant the government access to our communications without a warrant. The provisions in the legislation designed to protect Americans from warrantless surveillance are full of loopholes and ambiguities. There is no blanket prohibition against listening in on all American citizens without a warrant. Full story »

Mortgage crisis is still pummeling California

by Jeff Davis

Last Great Depression

One almost wonders why in Heaven’s name any of the three remaining candidates would want to be President in the horrendous times that are coming? Whoever gets elected President is going to have to face an appalling mess which can’t be solved by any means our Congress would approve (such as mass-deporting Third World invaders from the US). Just when it had dropped off the media radar for a bit, the housing crisis has made its reappearance.

According to the Los Angeles Times: “The number of California homes lost to foreclosure in the first quarter surged 327% from year-ago levels — reaching an average of more than 500 foreclosures per day — DataQuick said in a report warning that the widening foreclosure problem could ’spread beyond the current categories of dicey mortgages, and into mainstream home loans.’ ”

500 foreclosures per day? That’s a lot of people losing their homes! And this is only one state, California. What happens when all these defaults start knocking over other dominoes? We’ve heard of Countrywide, Bear Stearns and Washington Mutual getting into trouble, but what about the construction industry? There’s no need for new houses if they can’t sell the last batch they built. Full story »

Antonio Villaraigosa and Mistress Mirthala Salinas

A UPI article reports “Los Angeles is at the leading edge of a U.S. demographic trend, with half of its workforce immigrants, many of them unskilled and speaking little English. As baby boomers retire the same pattern will emerge across the country, the Los Angeles Times reported Sunday. Demographers estimate that by 2025 most of the growth in the workforce will be from immigrants.”

If you substitute illegal aliens and low-paid Paki tech workers for “immigrants” and white people for baby boomers, you get an idea how serious this is.

The UPI article goes on “Ernesto Cortes Jr., Southwest regional director of the Industrial Areas Foundation, said Los Angeles is at a crossroads… ‘The question is: are we going to be a 21st century city with shared prosperity, or a Third World city with an elite group on top and the majority at poverty or near poverty wages?’ he asked. ‘Right now we’re headed toward becoming a Third World city. But we can change that.’ ”

Massive Third World immigration creates Third World conditions. Mexico has an elite ruling class on top and dirt poor peasants making up most of that nation. Full story »

Food Rationing In The United States?

rice bag

Increased fuel costs have recently caused food prices to rise dramatically since everything travels by diesel truck. Now it looks as though we may be seeing food shortages. The developing food crisis may prove to be the ultimate straw that breaks the camel’s back even more so than the skyrocketing cost of fuel and energy and the instability of the financial markets. It’s hitting us so suddenly and without warning that almost anything could happen next.

According to the New York Sun: “Many parts of America, long considered the breadbasket of the world, are now confronting a once unthinkable phenomenon: food rationing. Major retailers in New York, in areas of New England, and on the West Coast are limiting purchases of flour, rice, and cooking oil as demand outstrips supply. There are also anecdotal reports that some consumers are hoarding grain stocks.”

The Sun goes on: “At a Costco Warehouse in Mountain View, Calif., yesterday, shoppers grew frustrated and occasionally uttered expletives as they searched in vain for the large sacks of rice they usually buy. ‘Where’s the rice?’ an engineer from Palo Alto, Calif., Yajun Liu, said. ‘You should be able to buy something like rice. This is ridiculous.’ The bustling store in the heart of Silicon Valley usually sells four or five varieties of rice to a clientele largely of Asian immigrants, but only about half a pallet of Indian-grown Basmati rice was left in stock. A 20-pound bag was selling for $15.99.”

The first signs of rationing are here. Full story »

Robert Mugabe --27 yrs. of incompetence

I personally wasn’t aware that there were any white people left in Zimbuggery, but apparently a few were allowed to remain in order to produce food for the Marxist ruling party’s elite. Now senile Communist dictator Robert Mugabe is lashing out like a gigantic black baby in a tantrum, and guess who he is victimizing?

Wired reports: “With his 28-year grip on power slipping, President Robert Mugabe’s government has again lashed out at Zimbabwe’s white community, calling his black opponents tools of former colonial master Britain and stoking anger against the nation’s whites. In the past, such attacks struck a chord in a country that suffered under white minority rule until 1980 and where whites controlled much of the economy even decades later. But after repeated attacks, the seizure of most white-owned farms and the near collapse of the economy, the white community’s size and power have dwindled. It may no longer be effective to use whites as a scapegoat for the nation’s ills.”

In other words, there’s no more than a couple of hundred Whites left, and nobody believes they’re responsible for all the failures of the Mugabe regime. Full story »

Some More Token Immigration Raids

Bush won't deport millions, just dozens.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has bestirred themselves to make a few more token immigration raids, with the usual squawking from liberal and Hispanic groups.

The Associated Press reports “Federal immigration agents raided Pilgrim’s Pride poultry plants in five states Wednesday in a crackdown on an alleged scam to provide fake identification for illegal immigrant workers….More than 100 people were expected to be charged in the raids at the nation’s largest chicken producer.”

Now this is really interesting. The poultry and meat-packing industries have long been among the major immigration offenders in this country, employing hundreds of thousands of illegal Mexicans, and at relatively good wages of $12 and $13 per hour, so that on the rare occasion when some Armour or Hormel or other plant gets raided, the next day there are lines of Americans forming up outside the plant, looking for a job to keep their families fed. Finally, a Conviction in Knoxville Murder Case

Murder Victims Channon Christian and Chris Newsom

The torture and murder of Channon Christian and Chris Newsom by five black monsters makes me physically ill, but I feel obliged to comment on the trial. Finally, there has now been a single conviction of one of the black monsters connected with this horrific act of racist butchery, and that conviction was on a tangential accessory charge. This is all our mighty justice system has to show after fifteen months.

The original details of the case can be found here.

According to the Knoxville News “The parents of a young couple brutally murdered after a January 2007 carjacking expressed relief this afternoon, while the attorney for Eric Dewayne ‘E’ Boyd said he would appeal the verdict of a federal jury that found Boyd guilty of being an accessory to the carjacking. ‘One down. Four to go,’ said Gary Christian, father of Channon Christian, referring to the four suspects who face trials in state court for the killings of Channon, then 21, and her boyfriend, 23-year-old Christopher Newsom.’We do this for Channon,’ said Channon’s mother, Deena. ‘We’ve been through the worst. We and the Newsoms have lost our children. We can endure anything.’ Defense attorney Phil Lomonaco, a private attorney appointed to represent Boyd, said he would appeal. ‘it’s a tough case. We knew it was going to be. It was a close case’ …He said Boyd was in good spirits.”

Well, that’s good to know, that this cannibal is in good spirits. In this case, this black isn’t even looking at the farce that passes for the death penalty in this country; he’s simply going to be shipped off to the pen to hang with his homeys, pump a little iron, watch a little cable TV and wait around until he gets kicked out the door so he can help kidnap and sodomize and murder another white girl. Was Hillary’s Pennsylvania “Win” a Fraud?

Limbaugh hatched plan in February for Republicans to vote for worst Democrat.

by Charles Coughlin

Rush Limbaugh told Republicans to vote for worst Democrat.

Not long ago, Hillary looked finished. She lost eleven states in a row –often by landslides (57 percent or more) to Barack Obama. Most pundits were chalking this up to the fact that Hillary has a really high negative rating. Last summer, Hillary had a negative rating of 50 percent among voters. A recent Washington Post article reports “Clinton is viewed as ‘honest and trustworthy’ by just 39 percent of Americans, according to a new Washington Post-ABC News poll, compared with 52 percent in May 2006. Nearly six in 10 said in the new poll that she is not honest and trustworthy.” How is it possible then that Hillary did well in Ohio, Rhode Island and Pennsylvania, not to mention getting a slim plurality in Texas?

Consider this excerpt from an article describing the Rush Limbaugh radio show: “In late February 2008, Limbaugh developed Operation Chaos, a political call to action with the initial plan to have voters of the Republican Party temporarily cross over to vote Democrat and vote for Hillary Clinton, who at the time was in the midst of losing eleven straight primary contests to Barack Obama. The goal was to have the campaigns of Clinton and Obama fight over the Democratic Party nomination for as long as possible and potentially force a brokered 2008 Democratic National Convention. On March 27, 2008, Limbaugh said that ‘at this point, the purpose of Operation Chaos is not to choose a specific nominee, and it wasn’t from the get-go to pick a specific nominee. The purpose of Operation Chaos is what you see. It was to keep the race going so that there would be hatred, animosity, and political bloodletting between Hillary and Barack Obama and their forces.’ ” Full story »

Pennsylvania gives Hillary a net gain of only 16 Delegates.

by Charles Coughlin

Obama still has commanding lead over Hillary.

Despite torturing the American public for months, pretending the Hillary campaign still stood a chance, the big Pennsylvania primary has resulted in a tiny sixteen delegate gain for Hillary over Obama. The final election results give Hillary only a 9.2% single digit victory over Obama falling far short of the large double digit victory she desperately needed. An AFP article reports “With 78 percent of precincts reporting, Clinton was said to be leading by 10 percent with 55 percent of the vote to 45 for Obama in her quest to be America’s first woman president…. Obama, 46, had already downplayed any likelihood that he could win in Pennsylvania, but pointed out that he had whittled down her lead in most polls from 20 points… With neither candidate set to reach the 2,025 pledged delegates needed to win the nomination outright, Clinton was seeking to make her case to Democratic superdelegates, the top party officials who will effectively crown the nominee at the party’s August convention. She is trailing Obama in the total number of nominating contests won, pledged delegates apportioned in those showdowns, the popular vote, and the multi-million-dollar campaign financing race. And her victory in Pennsylvania will not do much to cut into her rival’s delegate lead, as the state’s 158 delegates will be doled out under the Democratic complex system of proportional representation. Obama leads by 1,650 total delegates to Clinton’s 1,508, according to independent website RealClearPolitics.com.”

With 98 percent of the vote in, MSNBC is showing Hillary holding onto a ten percent lead. If the delegates from Pennsylvania are split proportionally, Hillary will only get 16 more delegates than Obama. Why is the media wasting time giving this woman any media coverage? She has no real chance of pulling ahead of Obama. Full story »

“For Clinton – A Single Digit Win Won’t Cut It”

by James Buchanan

Hillary Clinton

What will it take for the media to admit Hillary is finished? I strongly suspect the media is carrying on a carefully orchestrated farce by pretending that Hillary actually stands a chance –just so they can continue to get ratings. After all, who’s going to watch a Hillary-Obama debate if they preface it with the observation: “Hillary is trailing Obama by 142 delegates and is mathematically doomed.”

It seems as though a lot of people have been fooled into thinking that Hillary still has a chance. Most knowledgeable pundits knew she was finished when she lost ELEVEN STATES IN A ROW to Obama back in January. Not only did she lose; she got creamed. Most of those Obama victories were 57 percent or more landslides.

Hillary should have been declared “toast” back then, but the media went hysterical over the Ohio and Texas primaries. Never mind the fact that Ohio in recent years has produced some of the most crooked and phony election results thanks to their Diebold machines. Anyhow, the media proclaimed that if Hillary did really well in BOTH Ohio and Texas, she still stood a chance. Well, she did OK in the (probably rigged) Ohio results where she got 54 percent. The Texas results gave Hillary a narrow victory in the popular vote, but once all the caucus results were tallied, Obama came out of Texas with the most delegates. So why wasn’t Obama declared the winner then? That’s right. The media wants this circus to drag on as long as possible. Full story »

Petraeus Testimony May Signal Iran Attack

On April 5, the London Telegraph reported that “British officials gave warning yesterday that America’s commander in Iraq will declare that Iran is waging war against the U.S.-backed Baghdad government. A strong statement from Gen. David Petraeus about Iran’s intervention in Iraq could set the stage for a U.S. attack on Iranian military facilities, according to a Whitehall assessment.”

The neocon lackey Petraeus has had his script written for him by Cheney, and Petraeus together with neocon warmonger Ryan Crocker, the U.S. governor of the Green Zone in Baghdad, will present Congress next Tuesday and Wednesday with the lies, for which the road has been well paved by neocon propagandists such as Kimberly Kagan, that “the U.S. must recognize that Iran is engaged in a full-up proxy war against it in Iraq.”

Don’t expect Congress to do anything except to egg on the attack. On April 3, the AP reported that senators and representatives have made millions of dollars from their investments in defense companies totaling $196 million. Rep. Ike Skelton, the Democratic chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, is already on board with the attack on Iran. The Telegraph quotes Skelton: “Iran is the bull in the china shop. In all of this, they seem to have links to all of the Shi’ite groups, whether they be political or military.” Full story »
