In her latest column Ann Coulter observed “Gen. George Casey, responded to a massacre of 13 Americans in which the suspect is a Muslim by saying: ‘Our diversity … is a strength.’ As long as the general has brought it up: Never in recorded history has diversity been anything but a problem.” Coulter entitles her article “Diversity has jumped the shark, horrifically”. The expression “jumping the shark” means that something has gone too far or gone on too long, referring specifically to an episode of “Happy Days” that let everyone know the writers had run out of ideas.

Throughout our society empty headed individuals keep repeating the mantra “Diversity is a strength.” You’ll hear that endlessly at Boeing. They even spend money to put it in their commercials. Meanwhile, Diversity has made Boeing so increasingly incompetent that their new 787 aircraft is 20,000 lbs overweight and at least two years overdue for its first flight. After decades of succesful aircraft engineering with a virtually all-White work force, Boeing has fully embraced Diversity over the last 20 years. Everywhere at Boeing you will see Pakis, Hindus and every other imaginable Third World immigrant brought over as cheap replacements for White engineers. And these Third World engineers will never go away until Boeing finally goes bankrupt.

You see “Diversity” is not just a fad; it’s a RELIGION. Corporate executives have fully embraced it. It got started off as racial quotas, which discriminated against White people to increase the number of Blacks and Latinos. Then, these corporate executives noticed there were Pakis, Hindus and Bangladeshis claiming to have “engineering” degrees, and they began hiring them as if they were as good as White American engineers. Nevermind the fact that the average engineering college in the Third World is apparently a sad joke and the students apparently cheat their way through all the classes. [Full story →]

World Jewry has always been keenly aware of the potential of White Americans rebelling against the sham two-party government, that the Jews have controlled for decades. The ADL’s latest press release claims “Rumors about gun confiscations. Angry protests about the government’s tax policies, replete with Nazi comparisons. A resurgent militia movement. Rage at the election of a president deemed to be illegitimate and threatening. Distrust and anger toward the government fueled by paranoia and conspiracy theories… In the year since we marked the historic election of the nation’s first African-American president we have seen a tremendous amount of anger and hostility…There is a toxic atmosphere of rage in America being witnessed at many levels, and it raises fundamental questions for our society.”

What the ADL sees as an alarming development is a positive development in the eyes of White patriots. The ADL wants the illegal alien invasion of America to continue without a peep of protest from angry White Americans. And why does the ADL want this? The result of a limitless brown invasion of America will be the extermination of the White race. Seems like the Jews are trying to commit genocide against us. A real genocide, not a phony one like that ridiculous Holocaust story of theirs.

The ADL gibbers on “One of the most disturbing trends in the rise of anti-government sentiment has been the resurrection and proliferation of conspiracy theories alleging dark, violent designs on the part of the federal government to declare martial law and end democratic government, to confiscate firearms from American citizens and to build hundreds of concentration camps to house dissidents. These theories have spread far and wide on social-networking sites.”

Of course, if the government is in fact planning to do this, it is a conspiracy, and NOT a theory. History is full of conspiracies. One of the biggest conspiracies in world history is The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion. It talks about the Jews using their control of the media to control White nations. Despite all the happy talk about a recovery from the liberal news media, the Obama Depression continues. Every recent piece of financial news has been negative. GM just lost another 1.2 billion in the last quarter. CIT Group announced the fifth largest bankruptcy in US history, and banks are still failing.

A recent news article reports: “Regulators shut down two banks in Florida and one in California on Friday, boosting to 123 the number of U.S. bank failures this year as loan defaults rise in the worst financial climate in decades. The Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. took over Orion Bank, based in Naples, Fla., with about $2.7 billion in assets and $2.1 billion in deposits, and Sarasota-based Century Bank, with $728 million in assets and $631 million in deposits. Pacific Coast National Bank in San Clemente, Calif. was also shut down. It had $134.4 million in assets and $130.9 million in deposits…The FDIC expects the cost of bank failures to grow to about $100 billion over the next four years. Depositors’ money — insured up to $250,000 per account — is not at risk, with the FDIC backed by the government.”

When these smaller banks fail under the weight of all their subprime loans to blacks and illegal aliens, the Feds pay one of the larger banks to take over the smaller bank. In order to persuade these banks to buy the bad paper, the Fed usually bribes them with a hefty chunk of TARP or other bailout money that’s supposed to be used to “stimulate” the economy. The New York Times reports: “Lou Dobbs, the longtime CNN anchor whose anti-immigration views have made him a TV lightning rod, said Wednesday that he is leaving the cable news channel effective immediately. ‘Some leaders in the media, politics and business have been urging me to go beyond my role here at CNN and engage in constructive problem-solving,’ Mr. Dobbs said just after 7 p.m., suggesting that he would remain involved in the civic discourse, but perhaps not on television. Wednesday’s program will be his last on CNN, one of his employees said earlier in the evening. Mr. Dobbs’ contract was not set to expire until the end of 2011. He told viewers that CNN had agreed to release him from his contract early.”

Clearly some major falling out occurred between Dobbs and CNN for him to leave before his contract was over. CNN is a flaming liberal news channel. One of the few tenuous links to sanity on CNN was Lou Dobbs and his updates on immigration. If CNN wants to purge Lou Dobbs, they can kiss their ratings good bye. Liberal news rags have been going bankrupt in recent years. The liberal Seattle Post Intelligencer is completely gone. The Chicago Tribune went bankrupt in December, 2008 and the Los Angeles Times has been teetering on the edge of bankruptcy for months now.

Perhaps the only thing saving CNN’s ratings so far has been the presence of Lou Dobbs and one or two other token conservatives. [Full story →]

The New York Post reports “(a) prominent Columbia architecture professor punched a female university employee in the face at a Harlem bar during a heated argument about race relations, cops said yesterday. Police busted Lionel McIntyre, 59, for assault yesterday after his bruised victim, Camille Davis, filed charges.”

Sounds like race relations have run into a snag. Didn’t anyone tell Camille that Black men have a temper and don’t like to take no disrespect.

The Post goes on: “McIntyre and Davis, who works as a production manager in the school’s theater department, are both regulars at Toast, a popular university bar on Broadway and 125th Street, The professor, who is black, had been engaged in a fiery discussion about ‘white privilege with Davis, who is white, and another male regular, who is also white, Friday night at 10:30 when fists started flying, patrons said.”

No doubt the Black, McIntyre, realized he was not going to have sex with Davis and quickly lost whatever remaining amount of patience he might have had.

The Post article notes “McIntyre, who is known as ‘Mac’ at the bar, shoved Davis, and when the other patron and a bar employee tried to break it up, the prof slugged Davis in the face, witnesses said. ‘The punch was so loud, the kitchen workers in the back heard it over all the noise,’ bar back Richie Velez, 28, told The Post. ‘I was on my way over when he punched Camille and she fell on top of me.’ The other patron involved in the dispute said McIntyre then took a swing at him after he yelled, ‘You don’t hit a woman!’ ”

Notice that all the White bystander would do is verbally protest, and McIntyre took a swing at him too for his timid protestation. [Full story →]

It’s right in front of our noses. It always has been. Jews hate us and they have never made any particular secret of the fact. The Israeli equivalent of the New York Times, Ha’aretz, reports: “Just weeks after the arrest of alleged Jewish terrorist, Yaakov Teitel, a West Bank rabbi on Monday released a book giving Jews permission to kill Gentiles who threaten Israel. Rabbi Yitzhak Shapiro, who heads the Od Yosef Chai Yeshiva in the Yitzhar settlement, wrote in his book The King’s Torah that even babies and children can be killed if they pose a threat to the nation.”

Some people would argue that high-ranking rabbis over the centuries have chosen to kill Gentile infants in Jewish Ritual Murders. It’s their little way of reaffirming that Gentiles are not human beings. The murders are usually infrequent so that suspicion will not arise. The rabbis involved in these murders are very high-level and secretive. Then again, does any Gentile know what the structure of Judaism is? We know it has strange cabalistic sects and a bizarre ultra-orthodox branch. The most common part of Judaism is the liberal branch, which seems more inclined to push a leftist political agenda on society than to worship any sort of higher deity. There have been trials and convictions in European courts over the centuries convicting Jews of ritual murder. Whenever a Gentile nation expelled the Jews, the spate of child disappearances stopped. The Jews have been very energetic in their attempts to outlaw any mention of Jewish Ritual Murder. Curiously, no other race or tribe has had this same problem of repeatedly being accused and convicted of ritually murdering babies.

The article notes “Shapiro based the majority of his teachings on passages quoted from the Torah, to which he adds his opinions and beliefs. ‘It is permissable to kill the Righteous among Nations even if they are not responsible for the threatening situation,’ he wrote, adding: ‘If we kill a Gentile who has sinned or has violated one of the seven commandments – because we care about the commandments – there is nothing wrong with the murder.’ Several prominent rabbis, including Rabbi Yithak Ginzburg and Rabbi Yaakov Yosef, have recommended the book to their students and followers.” [Full story →]

Apparently financial fraud has long been one of the primary sources of income for a whole section of this country’s Jewish ruling elite. The Bernie Madoff case is simply the tip of the iceberg. More and more “mini-Madoffs” are being flushed from cover, especially in Jewish centers like New York, Florida and Los Angeles. Now we’ve got a Jewish lawyer who followed in Bernie’s footsteps. One article notes “The alleged investment scam by Fort Lauderdale attorney Scott Rothstein could top $1 billion, making it one of the biggest fraud cases in South Florida history…”

The Miami Sun-Sentinel reports: “Attorney Scott Rothstein returned to Fort Lauderdale on Tuesday after contemplating suicide amid mounting allegations that he misappropriated hundreds of millions of dollars from an investment business he covertly ran out of his law office. Stuart Rosenfeldt, the president of the Rothstein, Rosenfeldt and Adler law firm, said he was told that Rothstein met with federal prosecutors after his chartered plane landed at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport.”

A chartered plane no less! Never let it be said that Jewish thieves don’t travel in style. Don’t forget that your typical high level lawyers charge somewhere near $1,000 per hour. Did the Founding Fathers want our legal system to become so complicated and lawsuits and legal problems so pervasive that a parasite class like this would rise up? Of course not.

The Sun continues: “Rothstein’s arrival came four days after he sent a desperate text message to his law firm’s five partners indicating they wouldn’t see him again. ‘Sorry for letting you all down,’ he wrote. ‘I am a fool… I thought I could fix it but got trapped by my ego and refusal to fail, and now all I have accomplished is hurting the people I love. Please take care of yourselves and please protect Kimmie (Rothstein’s wife). She knew nothing. Neither did she nor any of you deserve what I did. I hope God allows me to see you on the other side. Love, Scott.’ ”

Once again we see the typical maudlin Jewish self-pity. You could just as easily insert Shylock’s famous speech from The Merchant of Venice. This Jew is merely setting up his courtroom defense and playing for sympathy. There have been several Jews who have faked their own deaths in these scandals. Initial Reports claimed that Kim Munley shot Major Nidal Malik Hasan.

The recent shooting at Fort Hood has raised a number of questions. Why doesn’t the military allow its officers or senior NCOs to carry firearms so they could stop someone who went beserk there? Major Nidal Malik Hasan killed 13 and wounded an additonal 29 before being shot and wounded by a police officer. Why couldn’t someone get an M16 and bullets out of an armory to deal with this emergency?

The latest controversy however deals with the police response. Why has the US media completely distorted the news coverage of which police officer stopped Hasan? Almost every news story in the US claims that the female officer shot Hasan while all the evidence availabe says that the male cop is the one who stopped the Fort Hood shooter.

A story in the UK Guardian reports “It has emerged that a previously unheralded police sergeant may have fired shots that ended attack… Sergeant Kimberly Munley was the heroine America desperately sought in the hours after the massacre at the Fort Hood army base in Texas. But a week after Major Nidal Hasan allegedly shot and killed 13 people and wounded dozens more, it has emerged that a previously unheralded police sergeant may in fact have fired the bullets that ended the attack, not Munley. A witness to the shooting spree told the New York Times today that Hasan was taken down by Senior Sergeant Mark Todd, a veteran police officer… Munley insisted that she fired at Hasan, but did not say whether she had hit him. Todd talked of firing the shots that brought down Hasan – the first time he had ever fired at a human being in his 25-year career… The tale of Munley’s apparent heroism recalls the case of Jessica Lynch, an army private first class who the US military said was wounded while fighting off Iraqi troops during the US invasion, reportedly firing her rifle heroically before being captured. It later emerged she was injured in a vehicle accident during an ambush and was well cared for by the Iraqis.”

Being a police officer requires individuals who are cool-headed during a crisis, have quick reflexes and who won’t hesitate to shoot a bad guy. Men are much, much better suited to this sort of job than women, but our politically correct establishment won’t admit this since this goes against political correctness. It’s true that Kim Munley behaved bravely running toward Hasan, trying to shoot him, but she wound up a casualty and failed to stop him. We’re lucky the Democrats have been obsessing over Obama-care for the past several months. It’s put things like Amnesty on the back burner so far. There’s a good chance the Senate will filibuster the current Obama-care bill, which narrowly passed in the House, despite a large Democrat majority. The longer our government is tied up with the Obama-care battle, the longer the Amnesty issue is put off.

The influential website TheHill.com reports “The illegal immigration issue is emerging as the biggest threat to passing health care reform in the House. Congressional Hispanics have threatened to vote against the bill because of a last-minute threat from within the Democratic Caucus to bolster the House bill’s immigration restrictions to match those included in the Senate Finance bill. And they’re also fighting President Barack Obama, the original sponsor of the language prohibiting illegal immigrants from accessing the public health insurance exchange.”

During an earlier controversy about excluding illegal aliens from any health care coverage, the Obama regime let it slip out that they would just give all the illegal aliens Amnesty. These Obama Socialists really are that clueless. They have no idea their policies will bankrupt America or they just don’t care. They think White taxpayers are an inexhaustible ATM machine that can endlessly provide a first world lifestyle for tens of millions of Blacks and Latinos living here in the US. [Full story →]

The facts as presented by the Army and the media reference the shooting at Fort Hood just don’t compute. While I routinely dismiss any “facts” disseminated by the Army and the state’s propaganda wing, sometimes referred to as the mainstream media (MSM), there are some glaring inconsistencies in what has been reported about this tragedy.

First is the report the perpetrator was dead and then hours later the revelation that he was still alive. Exactly how long does it take to determine if a person is dead or alive? Could it be no one knew whom the shooter or shooters were and a story had to be concocted for public consumption? What happened to the two other “suspects” that were detained? What did they do to qualify as suspects and more importantly, what information surfaced that led to their release? One of the suspects reportedly stated he “was with the shooter.”

Second is the number of victims from a single shooter. Let us not forget this shooting did not occur at the mall, it occurred on a military installation where the victims had been trained in military tactics and some were combat veterans. We are to believe they did nothing to stop a single shooter and he was allowed to reload several times and continue shooting and the only thing that stopped him was the arrival of a police officer after the gunman had gunned down over 40 people?

And how so very convenient for the state, a perpetrator who was both anti-war and a Muslim; just doesn’t get any better than that. Could this be an example of following the philosophy of Rahm Emanuel on dealing with a crisis?

The Democratic party is planning to insure perpetual power for itself by making certain that White Americans are decisively outnumbered in all future elections. Right now the Democrats win elections thanks to the brown and black vote and a significant percentage of White people, who somehow fail to grasp that the Democrats are stealing their money through taxes and giving that money to the non-Whites.

A recent news article reports “Senate Democrats have blocked a GOP attempt to require next year’s census forms to ask people whether they are a U.S. citizen.”

An accurate count might confirm that the number of illegal aliens in this country is closer to 30 million than the official estimate of 12 to 20 million. The Democrats of course don’t want to wake up all the White “sheeple” out there with an alarming revelation like that.

The article goes on: “The proposal by Louisiana Republican Sen. David Vitter was aimed at excluding immigrants from the population totals that are used to figure the number of congressional representatives for each state. Critics said Vitter’s plan would discourage immigrants from responding to the census and would be hugely expensive. They also said that it’s long been settled law that the apportionment of congressional seats is determined by the number of people living in each state, regardless of whether they are citizens. A separate survey already collects the data… The plan fell after a 60-39 procedural vote made it ineligible for attachment to a bill funding the census.” [Full story →]

An article from NBC Dallas-Fort Worth reports that “Walter Reed Booker, 52, was arrested Thursday for charges of aggravated assault and injury to a child after police said he tried to attack his grandson in a dispute over who ate all the sausage biscuits. Police reports said Tony Kirk, Booker’s grandson, discovered that somebody had eaten all of the sausage biscuits that he had purchased earlier and asked Booker if he had eaten them. An enraged Booker fought with Kirk until Kirk barricaded himself in a bedroom where Kirk’s sleeping infant lay. Walter Booker attempted to stab Kirk, but missed and cut the 6-month-old girl on the arm. Kirk and the child’s mother, who was in the house as well, were unharmed.”

One of the racial characteristics of blacks and other minorities is an inability to restrain impulsive reactions. Uncontrolled and excessive violence is a part of the black and Hispanic lifestyle to a degree which White people simply can’t comprehend. Many of the violent assaults on Whites which take place by the tens of thousands every day all across America fall into this category. The White people, who were attacked, foolishly thought they were dealing with rational people just like themselves, when they criticized something minor, and then were met with a violent assault.

Many black and brown people simply are not sufficiently genetically evolved to control themselves. The OJ Simpson murder of his White wife, Nicole, and Ron Goldman or the brutal Chris Brown attack on Rihanna in a jealous fit are two examples. Most White people know nothing at all about the nature of the Jews. The biggest delusion is that the Jews are a “religion.” The ancestors of most Jews came originally from Kazakhstan. The term “Ashkenazi Jews” refers to Jews, who originated in central Asia (Kazakhstan). These Jews immigrated to the Polish-Lithuanian Empire in the Middle Ages (hence the large Yiddish community in Poland and the Warsaw Ghetto) and then traveled from there to Western Europe. Even though the Jews have lived among Christian Europeans for hundreds of years, they have refused all attempts to be converted to Christianity. In fact the end result of having Jews in a White nation for a prolonged period of time is widespread moral corruption and a severe undermining of Christianity. Jews play the role of an anti-Christian virus in White societies.

The Jews are not a branch of the White race. The people of Kazakhstan are a mixture of mostly Asiatic races, including primarily Turks, Central Asians (related to the Iranians or Afghan people) and Mongol invaders, who were well known for their brutality. Most likely a few Mediterranean Jews immigrated to Kazakhstan centuries ago and began a community there. The Jewish leaders may have considered the people of this area very similar in attitude and personality to the original Jewish race and intermarried with them. One legend claims that a king of Kazakhstan declared that the entire nation should become Jewish.

The most important thing to remember about Jews is that they are an alien race. The definition of a Jew in Judaic law is someone, who has a Jewish mother. How can Judaism be considered a religion if you have to be born into it? That is the definition of a race! It would be somewhat alarming to White Americans if a foreign people such as the Japanese, got together in racial meeting houses once per week to promote their racial agenda. The Jews have cleverly claimed that their racial meeting houses, synagogues, are “religious” meeting houses “just like churches.” There is a passage in the New Testament, Revelations 2:9 that says “I know the slander of those, who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.” This passage correctly notes that modern synagogues have nothing to do with God and that the Jews are now an alien Mongol-Turkish-Central Asian race, not even related to the original Jews. An AFP article reports “The US unemployment rate shot up to 10.2 percent in October as another 190,000 jobs were shed, the government said Friday in a report showing narrowing job losses.”

Most American know that these government numbers are -at best- flawed and -at worst- fabricated. Anyone who uses up his last unemployment check without finding a job, falls off the official government tally of the unemployed. Considering the job market has been a disaster for the last two years with millions of job losses, it’s probably a fair assessment that 80 to 99.9 percent of the people who have lost their jobs are still unemployed. The real percentage of unemployed Americans is almost certainly in the 15 to 20 percent range.

To add insult to injury, the stock market shot up about 200 points on the day the official unemployment rate broke through ten percent. There’s a theory among investors that “laying off people is good for business”. This has been around since at least the horrible Bush Senior recession in the early ’90s.

I suppose there’s nothing like lay offs to crack the whip over the heads of all those cubicle workers. The implicit threat is: “Better start putting in unpaid overtime or you’re next.” Despite this obvious pressure on surviving workers, just how valid is the theory that lay offs make businesses more efficient? A recent news article reports “Soldiers who witnessed the shooting rampage at Fort Hood that left 13 people dead reported that the gunman shouted ‘Allahu Akbar!’ …before opening fire, the base commander said Friday. Lt. Gen. Robert Cone said officials had not yet confirmed that the suspected shooter, Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, made the comment before the rampage Thursday. Hasan was among 30 people wounded in the shooting spree and remained hospitalized on a ventilator. A spokeswoman for Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio says Hasan was moved there Friday afternoon. She said he was in critical condition, but expected to survive.”

Hasan had earlier made statements expressing his opposition to the Iran and Afghanistan occupations. He had worked at Walter Reed Hospital for several years and was recently given a poor job performance review. The Army was about to deploy him to Iraq despite Hasan doing everything he could to avoid being deployed over there.

A CNN article notes “Hasan, 39, is a graduate of Virginia Tech and a psychiatrist licensed in Virginia who was practicing at Darnall Army Medical Center at Fort Hood, according to military and professional records. Previously, he worked at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. A federal official said Hasan is a U.S. citizen of Jordanian descent. Military documents show that Hasan was born in Virginia and was never deployed outside the United States.”

The US military has been so desperate to recruit soldiers for these “eternity deployments” in Iraq and Afghanistan, that they’re ignoring all common sense. Maybe it isn’t the brightest thing in the world to allow a militant Muslim into the US military in the first place or to ignore his requests to stay out of a war against his people that he doesn’t support. Washington, D.C. Republican insiders are panicking tonight as the latest WHAS-11 TV voter poll in Kentucky shows Rand Paul clearly beating Trey Grayson, the corrupt insider candidate. Rand Paul is drawing 35% support against Trey Grayson’s 32% support. Already the rumors are buzzing that the totally corrupt Republican establishment is considering the total desperation move of dumping Trey Grayson in order to stop the patriot freight train in Kentucky. There is talk that they may recruit a George W. Bush groupie named Kathy Bailey to replace their boy Grayson. Bailey apparently has lots of money, and raised lots more to help George W. Bush wreck the Republican party by launching a war based 100% on lies in Iraq. Kathy Bailey helped George W. Bush wreck the Republican party by doubling the deficit and smashing our Bill of Rights with the unpatriotic Patriot Act. As the true patriots in the Republican party revolt against these corrupt Neocon stooges, sock-puppets, and traitors against their country, the insiders may have trouble finding candidates willing to face the angry, roaring patriot crowds that they must face at EVERY public event from here on out. It is becoming more and more acknowledged even in the media that many so-called “hate crimes” are in fact hoaxes and fabrications, made up by the alleged “victims.” This pattern is apparent not only in this country but abroad as well.

BBC News reports: “A French woman who alleged she had been the subject of an anti-Semitic attack invented the story, police sources say. The alleged admission came shortly after the she was taken into custody – four days after the alleged assault on a train in the suburbs of Paris… The 23-year-old woman said six men cut her clothes and drew swastikas on her body, assuming that she was Jewish. The woman has been detained for falsely reporting a crime, state prosecutor Xavier Salvat told AFP news agency. She could face up to six months in prison and a 7,500-euro ($9,200) fine if convicted… The case sparked widespread condemnation amid concern that racist and anti-Semitic attacks are on the rise in France.”

How do we know hate crimes are really on the rise? Maybe faking hate crimes is on the rise. The Jewish president of France, Nicolas Sarkozy, wanted to give each French child a “Holocaust ghost” playmate. Fake hate crimes are a convenient tool for reminding everyone of the Jewish Holocaust story.

The Holocaust is a fundamental pillar of Jewish control. The Jews use it to instill a guilt complex in all White Christians so that we don’t question Israel over its war crimes or organ stealing from murdered Palestinians. The Holocaust also intimidates many people from questioning undue Jewish influence over their government. Suddenly any patriot who doesn’t want a sinister cabalistic tribe undermining his freedom is implicitly made equal to a “Nazi mass murderer” if you believe the Holocaust fable and the Jewish smears against White patriots. Republicans win Governor elections in Virginia and New Jersey.

The liberal media has been force-feeding us propaganda that the economy is in a “recovery” for months now. There’s just one little problem: Most people are smarter than that. They see all the closed stores, and they know that their friends are being laid off one-by-one, and that there are empty, foreclosed houses up and down the street where they live.

With this persistent economic gloom and the threat of socialized health care hovering over America, voters decided to kick out two Democrat governors this week. One news story reports “Independents who swept Barack Obama to a historic 2008 victory broke big for Republicans on Tuesday as the GOP wrested political control from Democrats in Virginia and New Jersey, a troubling sign for the president and his party heading into an important midterm election year. Conservative Republican Bob McDonnell’s victory in the Virginia governor’s race over Democrat R. Creigh Deeds and moderate Republican Chris Christie’s ouster of unpopular New Jersey Gov. Jon Corzine was a double-barreled triumph for a party looking to rebuild after being booted from power in national elections in 2006 and 2008. Elsewhere on Tuesday, Maine voters rejected a state law that would allow same-sex couples to wed. If supporters had prevailed, it would have marked the first time that the electorate in any state endorsed gay marriage.”

Obama’s stimulus and bail out efforts have merely thrown away a couple trillion dollars with no significant effect. 115 banks have failed in 2009 with 16 bank failures in the last two weeks. Add to all this, the fifth largest bankruptcy in US history as last minute efforts to save CIT Group have failed. Meanwhile, there really isn’t any booming sector of the economy that would give any Americans confidence that things are getting better. [Full story →]

And now the Wall Street Journal admits it.

A column by Peggy Noonan starts out “The new economic statistics put growth at a healthy 3.5% for the third quarter. We should be dancing in the streets. No one is, because no one has any faith in these numbers. Waves of money are sloshing through the system, creating a false rising tide that lifts all boats for the moment. The tide will recede. The boats aren’t rising, they’re bobbing, and will settle. No one believes the bad time is over. No one thinks we’re entering a new age of abundance. No one thinks it will ever be the same as before 2008. Economists, statisticians, forecasters and market specialists will argue about what the new numbers mean, but no one believes them, either.”

It’s good to see a conservative pundit stand up to all this recovery propaganda. Finally, someone in a major news outlet has said out loud what the whole media and the whole country know: Obama and the Democrats are just plain lying about there being some kind of “recovery.”

The column goes on: “The biggest long-term threat is that people are becoming and have become disheartened, that this condition is reaching critical mass, and that it afflicts most broadly and deeply those members of the American leadership class who are not in Washington, most especially those in business…This is historic. This is something new in modern political history, and I’m not sure we’re fully noticing it. Americans are starting to think the problems we are facing cannot be solved.”

A Congress full of Socialist Democrats and compromising weakling moderate Republicans is surely not going to fix the problems. Some of the problems such as the illegal alien invasion appear to be off-limits for both parties. In yet another staggering financial blow, CIT Group has announced that it’s filing for bankruptcy. Rumors of CIT Group’s collapse have been circulating for months. Over the last two months, the liberal media has inundated us with propaganda about a recovery. The worst of the “recession” was supposedly over. Some pundits were claiming that the US was in a “jobless recovery” which brings up the question “How can you have a recovery without an increase in jobs?”

A recent news article reports “CIT Group Inc., one of the nation’s leading funders of small and medium-sized businesses, filed for the fifth largest bankruptcy by assets in U.S. history Sunday as part of a reorganization plan that has the support of an overwhelming majority of debtholders. In a statement, the company said it is asking the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York for a quick approval of the prepackaged plan. CIT said none of its operating subsidiaries would be affected by the filing, allowing them to continue operations. ‘The decision to proceed with our plan of reorganization will allow CIT to continue to provide funding to our small business and middle market customers, two sectors that remain vitally important to the U.S. economy,’ said CIT (CIT, Fortune 500) chairman Jeffrey M. Peek. In the bankruptcy filing, CIT said it had $71 billion in assets and $64.9 billion in liabilities. While the required percentage of debtholders approved the prepackaged bankruptcy procedure, the company said it did not receive the required support from bondholders for a $5.9 billion debt exchange offer that would have prevented the Chapter 11 filing.” [Full story →]
