Soldiers pistol-whipped man while he was down.
Israeli soldiers have beaten and arrested five unarmed Palestinian Police in the city of Al-Halil in the West Bank.
A photographer from the American news agency, the Associated Press (AP) witnessed the incident and revealed that 12 Israeli soldiers had approached the policemen and asked them to leave, when the police refused this request, they began to beat the officers. The photographer reported that they continued to kick one of the police officers even when he was down and another was pistol whipped with the butt a riffle and the officers were taken away in an army jeep. Al Halil Police Chief Avni Samara registered his protest to the incident and pointed out that the police officers were in a region of the city, which is controlled by Palestine.
