Law enforcement officials deal with La Raza gang.
The Immigration and Customs Enforcement, a branch of the Department of Homeland Security, the Collier County Sheriff’s Office and Naples Police arrested nineteen alleged members of the La Raza gang. The members were also illegal immigrants. Residents of Golden Gate, where the arrests took place, are happy to be getting their neighborhood back.
The gang La Raza and its crimes are well known to 17-year-old Billy Pike.
“They just tag around and get in fights,” said Pike.
For detectives on Thursday night’s bust, it doesn’t stop there.
“A lot of batteries, basically intimidation, thefts,” said Tim Guerrette of the Collier County Sheriff’s Office.
