Anyone, who thought the Obama health care plan would be free of the complexity and draconian penalties that characterized the Hillary-care plan of 1993, is going to be sadly mistaken. Seems like liberals never change, and their efforts to “reform” anything always make things much worse.

Looks like one of Obama’s soulless bureaucrats slipped up and let the truth out of the bag like the proverbial cat. Obamacare is really nothing more than a plan to steal money out of the pockets of the poor and middle class.

Politico.com reports: “This doesn’t happen often enough. Sen. John Ensign (R-Nev.) received a handwritten note Thursday from Joint Committee on Taxation Chief of Staff Tom Barthold confirming the penalty for failing to pay the up to $1,900 fee for not buying health insurance. Violators could be charged with a misdemeanor and could face up to a year in jail or a $25,000 penalty, Barthold wrote on JCT letterhead. He signed it ‘Sincerely, Thomas A. Barthold.’ The note was a follow-up to Ensign’s questioning at the markup.”

The main reason that ordinary White working people don’t buy health care is simple: they can’t afford it. An average emergency room visit runs almost a thousand dollars these days. Even a routine checkup, with full lab tests, will run hundreds of dollars. And if anyone gets sick or requires hospitalization, someone who is uninsured can lose their home.

Not only are White people paying for their medical care, they are paying for all the medical bills from all the illegal aliens plus all the bills from the Third World poor with US citizenship who use the emergency room as their “walk in” all purpose medical center. Add to all this the people requiring highly expensive AIDS medication (almost all of whom got AIDS from dirty needles or sodomy).

None of these things require socialism and government buraucracy as a solution. In fact, Obamacare would only make them worse, starting with the demand that everyone buy insurance, including those who have no money. If some working people could afford the government’s mandated health care system, then they could afford private health insurance if it was reasonably priced.

If the government wants to “reform” health care they need to stop trying to create huge bureaucracies and take over everything, deal with the issue of illegal immigration, and find ways to force the existing health care providers to cut their prices to a level bearing some resemblance to sanity.
