Mike Huckabee

One would think that the voters in this country would have sense enough to beware of a smooth-talking former governor from Hope, Arkansas, if only out of a sense of unpleasant deja vu. But apparently not, and Mike Huckabee is learning to push all the right buttons.

The Washington Times reports that “Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, who campaigned yesterday at North Greenville University in Tigerville, S.C., introduced an immigration plan that makes his position on illegal aliens one of the toughest among the Republican presidential contenders. Huckabee continued to move to the right on immigration during this year’s presidential campaign, signing a pledge to enforce immigration laws and to make all illegal aliens go home.”

Well, that sounds nice. But if he feels that way, why then did Huckabee offer them free college scholarships and in-state tuition when he was governor of Arkansas? It wouldn’t have anything to do with the fact that Arkansas is a wholly owned and operated subsidiary of Tyson Foods, and that Tyson’s work force is massively comprised of illegal Mexicans working in its chicken plants, now, would it?

The Times goes on: “The pledge, offered by immigration control advocacy group Numbers USA, commits Mr. Huckabee to oppose a new path to citizenship for current illegal aliens and to cut the number of illegal aliens already in the country through attrition by law enforcement — something Mr. Huckabee said he will achieve through his nine-point immigration plan.”

This plan, which I won’t quote, is meaningless political drivel which would be forgotten as soon as Huckabee plunks his butt down in the Oval Office.

It is appropriate that Americans should worry most about the appalling prospect of the Clinton returning to the White House, but we need to emphasize that Republicans are no better in case we’ve forgotten the past seven years of Bush and his little Jewish friends. Mike Huckabee is an unabashed Late, Great Planet Earther, one of those crazies who believes it is necessary for the United States to provoke a nuclear holocaust in the Middle East to make Jesus come back and who has publicly threatened Muslims with “the gates of Hell.” He is not someone we need with his finger on that button.

In addition, I think we all know perfectly well that as soon as Huckabee was elected, he would start telling us we should have “compassion” for the illegal alien invaders who are destroying our country –just like he has done for most of his political career. One good flip-flop deserves another.

This election is going to be a disaster no matter what. Ron Paul is looking less and less likely to win the Republican primary. Paul won’t listen to good advice. He won’t clearly state his positions and defend them from phonies like Huckabee. The Jewish media made sure that Paul got less media attention than any other serious candidate. It’s a toss-up as to which of the other candidates would make the most appalling President (after Hillary herself, of course).
