Corruption, thy name is the Democrat party. After a fairly long digression into purely financial and political corruption, looks like the Dems are catching up to Mark Foley and Senator Larry “Twinkle-Toes” Craig in the sex scandal department.

WNBC New York reports: “A New Jersey congressman has fired his chief of staff — a former Obama aide — after the aide was arrested in Maryland on a charge of soliciting sex from a minor. Democratic Rep. Steve Rothman took the action after learning that top aide Robert Decheine was among 11 people snared in a Gaithersburg, Md., police sting. Police placed ads on a website and an undercover officer communicated with customers through phone and text messages. Decheine was a senior advisor to the Obama campaign in 2008, according to PolitickerNJ. He previously served as chief of staff to Rep. Bill Luther (D-MN). Decheine has run Rothmans Washington and New Jersey offices since May 2003.”

In other words, an Obama “senior adviser” got caught in one of those internet stings for pedophiles. Now why isn’t Katie Couric or the rest of the mainstream news media all over this story?

WNBC notes “Police said the 48-year-old was arrested on Nov. 17 after soliciting to have sex with an underage girl. Decheine was released on $15,000 bail. Eleven arrests were made during the operation, which came in phases. First, ads were placed online and an undercover officer began communicating with each John, according to the Website TMP. The Record newspaper reports Rothman’s office issued a statement saying the New Jersey Democrat considers the alleged criminal act to be shocking, appalling and indefensible.”

If Rothman truly believes that, I wonder if he would consent to giving his staff lie detector tests just to make sure no one else was into that lifestyle.

When Bill Clinton left office, there were stories about kiddie porn and even bestiality pictures on White House computers. When I describe Democrat politicians as the dregs of humanity, I’m not kidding. There is apparently no security monitoring of computers and their usage in the offices of Democratic politicians, unlike most offices of any kind in this country, including almost all state and federal government places of employment.

This of course begs the question: how many other pedophiles are to be found in the ranks of the Democrat party and the Obama administration in particular?
