World Temperatures have been dropping for the last six years.
by James Buchanan
Residents of the Pacific Northwest recently saw highly unusual snow, icy road conditions and prolonged sub-freezing temperatures at sea-level locations like the city of Seattle during December. Seattle residents also saw a record late snowfall last spring. While this may be anecdotal evidence, a recent news article reports “The year 2008 marked the tenth consecutive year of no global warming. This is not widely reported or known. In fact the Earth has been cooling for the last 6 years… We also note the nearly $5 billion/year being spent on global warming research is buying a lot of name-calling, ad hominem attacks, and all around nastiness by many of the indentured recipients of that money.”
Remember that melted area near the North Pole that the evening news reporters were panicking about, well you can quit worrying about that. The Kansas City Star reports “Global sea ice ends year at same level as 1979… For all those worried that the North Pole might melt, consider this: There’s been a rapid rebound in the level of global sea ice.”
Plants have been evolving for hundreds of millions of years to turn CO2 back into oxygen. Plants are so efficient at doing this that there is less than one-tenth of a percentage of CO2 in our atmosphere. A small increase in CO2, would likely be matched by an immediate increase in plant growth. The Global Warming Theory claims that industrial factories are significantly raising the level of CO2 world-wide and this alleged increase in CO2 is directly responsible for rising temperatures all over the world.

First of all, how much CO2 did Mount St. Helens produce when it blew up on May 18th, 1980? Do the environmentalist alarmists even know? How many square miles of rain forest have been destroyed by the six billion people in the Third World? Maybe the bloated population of the Third World needs to be controlled first and foremost. Imagine how much pollution they will produce if each one of them gets a car and their nations become as industrialized as Western nations. It won’t do much good if the people of North America and Europe are reduced to bicycles, electric cars and solar panels if the people of China and India start polluting at the same rate as the US did in the 1960s.
During the 1970s, the global temperature was DECREASING. How is that possible if there’s an iron-clad relationship between pollution, increasing CO2 and increasing global temperature? The truth is that the Global Warming Theory was disproven in the 1970s when the global temperature dropped for nearly a decade –while factory pollution continued to increase. The Global Warming Theory is being disproven again right now as the global temperature has been dropping for the last six years.
Natural variations in heat output from the sun are the reason for changes in the temperature of the earth. There have been ice ages and warm periods long before the first factory was built. The heat from the sun has varied in the past and will vary in the future. Notice the Global Warming crowd is not too thrilled with the idea of placing a satellite in orbit about the sun to measure the heat output from the sun outside the earth’s atmosphere. This would prove beyond a doubt that the sun’s natural heat fluctuations are causing global warming or cooling. Real scientists would want to rule out all other possibilities and get as much data as possible. The Global Warming people are charlatans and scam artists, not real scientists.
One science-related website notes “January 2008 capped a 12 month period of global temperature drops on all of the major well respected indicators… For all four metrics the global average ∆T (change in temperature) for January 2007 to January 2008 is: – 0.6405°C.” It should be noted that the Global Warming crowd has been panicking about a theoretical upward change in the global temperture of one or two degrees Celsius over the next 100 years. Now if the temperature dropped .64 degrees Celsius from Jan 2007 to Jan 2008, doesn’t this suggest that there’s not all that much to worry about?
