About 4000 to 5000 Nationalists from all over Europe gathered in the Germany town of Wunsiedel to commemorate the 17 anniversary of the death of Rudolf Hess. This is probably the biggest openly National socialist gathering in Germany and maybe Europe since World War II.

Rudolf Hess was Hitler’s right arm. He died in the German jail of Spandau where is was serving a life sentence. The official cause of his death was suicide. Several reports, including one on from the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), showed that the 93 year old prisoner couldn’t have hanged himself and accused US soldiers of murdering him. After Rudolf Hess’s death, the jail of Spandau was torn down in order to destroy any evidence.

During the protest, about a hundred protesters were arrested for possession of weapons and/or illegal symbols. In Germany people can be jailed for having a tattoo with an “unconstitutional symbol” on it!

The Wunsiedel mayor tried to forbid the protest but the court authorized it. This could be linked to the fact that US occupation forces are planning to leave the country. So the mayor and a couple of hundred leftists organized a counter protest.

The leftists yelled the usual slurs but this time there was something different, they held communist and Israeli flags side by side. The people behind the counter protest became so arrogant that they don’t even care to conceal their Zionist agenda anymore.
