Rudolf Hess was imprisoned for 46 years, half of his long life, for the “crime” of trying to bring peace between Britain and Germany. On May 10th, 1941, Hess flew an Me110 aircraft over Britain parachuting out over Scotland. Hess wanted to bring peace to Western Europe before war broke out between Germany and the Soviet Union.

The Soviet Union was a monstrous regime in which 30 million Christians were mass murdered in the 1920s and 1930s. Virtually all of Europe in 1941 saw the Soviet Union as an evil empire that needed to be destroyed. Only the governments of Britain and the United States saw Germany as a “threat.” Britain had a long history of making war against any nation in Europe which economically challenged it. This unfortunate, fratricidal policy was still in force during World War Two.

Add to this the extremely biased news media in England and the United States at the time. The English and US press made almost no mention of the daily oppressions and mass murders in the Soviet Union. Instead they maintained a steady drumbeat of hatred against Germany. When a German ambassador in Paris was murdered just for being German by a Zionist fanatic (a crime which modern law would call a “hate crime”), crowds of angry Germans smashed the windows of Jewish shopkeepers in retaliation. The press in England and America couldn’t care less that a German ambassador was murdered; no one in the West condemned Zionism for advocating hatred and murder. Instead, the press focused on the petty vandalism that followed.

Ironically, Winston Churchill had recognized the Soviet Union as a brutal regime in an article he wrote in 1920. Unfortunately, Churchill had forgotten his early youthful, idealistic opposition to the Communists in favor of corrupt special interests, which wanted war with Germany.

Rudolf Hess knew he would be dealing with a nearly impossible task, trying to convince the British government to sign a generous peace treaty that would have left Britain with all its possessions and prevented four unnecessary years of war. Instead of listening to him or allowing him to speak before parliament, Hess was thrown into the legendary prison at the Tower of London and could not have disappeared more completely without falling into a black hole.

Hess was dragged out of prison in 1946 for the Nuremberg show trial. Hess was never even accused of the usual Holocaust charges (as he left Germany in 1941 before the alleged “Holocaust” took place). Hess was accused of “crimes against peace” for the invasion of Poland (to recover German territory wrongly given to the Poles as part of the extremely unjust Versailles Treaty).

If Hess could be charged with “crimes against peace” then why were the leaders of France and Britain not charged with “crimes against peace” for declaring war on Germany on Sep. 3rd, 1939? Why weren’t members of the Roosevelt-Truman administration put on trial for acts of provocation against Japan and Germany that led to the Pearl Harbor attack?

There was no “justice” after World War Two. Only the beginning of a new Dark Age, in which the truth has been banished from history books for over six decades. Hess was given a life sentence.

While Rudolf Hess was still alive, there was a serious effort to nominate him for the Nobel Prize. There was even a play depicting his long stay in solitary confinement. Few people throughout history have shown the political courage and determination that Rudolf Hess displayed throughout his life. The Soviet Union eventually collapsed 50 years after the German invasion. Only years after the war was the magnitude of the Communist atrocities revealed to the West. The Black Book of Communism details the horrific murderous crimes of the Communists in Europe and around the world.

The long time imprisonment of the heroic Rudolf Hess was nothing less than a crime against humanity and the illegal punishment of an ambassador from Germany on a peace mission.
