Anti-free speech supporter advocates limits

In a ridiculous smear attempt, Cornell Daily Sun writer, Sara Townsley, links European rights activist David Duke with supporting terrorism. Townsley, an advocate of media censorship, claims that the failure of pro-free speech supporters in understanding the “limits” of expression passively upholds acts of terrorism and encourages anti-U.S. and anti-Israel sentiment.
While ignoring Israel’s occupation of Palestine and America’s invasion and subsequent occupation of Iraq for the security of Israel, Townsley suggests that citizens who express concern about an “Israel First” and a neo-conservative run government are extreme. The author, however, offers the normality of her own delusions by arguing the fantastical existence of a unified liberal, right-wing extremist and Arab front conspiring to overthrow “Big Brother”.
