After being besieged by voters for over a month, most of whom were angrily demanding that the treasonous Immigration-Amnesty Bill be killed, the Senate has voted 66 to 34 to resume debate on the bill –arrogantly defying the will of the American people. We needed 41 votes to lock up the bill, but not enough Senators were willing to listen to the people and kill it immediately. A large-scale coordinated effort led by Internet patriots and some talk radio hosts rallied people to fight the Amnesty Bill. The Senate however is used to selling us out. Many of the Senators who betrayed America in the 1990s, voting for NAFTA and GATT, are still occupying the same office they held back then. We need to vote out the traitors in the Senate before the Senate will represent our interests.
Senator Trent Lott remarked that Senators would just have to “deal with” talk radio and the anti-Amnesty movement. To him, talk radio and patriotic Americans are the problem, not the Amnesty Bill. Some patriots on the Internet have nick-named him “Vacant Lott” for his total disregard for voters.
Before sounding too gloomy, the House of Representatives has announced their opposition to the Senate Amnesty Bill. They introduced their own Immigration Reform Bill last week –a bill which announces up front that no illegal aliens will get an amnesty. To further emphasize their opposition, the House did a “test vote” today against the Senate Immigration Bill. The House Republicans voted 114 to 23 against the Senate Amnesty Bill. The vote went five-to-one against the Amnesty Bill, it’s a safe bet that the House will pronounce this bill “dead on arrival.”
Most people are stunned when they hear the details of the Amnesty Bill. It would reward every illegal alien who made it into the US before January 2007 with US citizenship. This would amount to a staggering 20 million illegal aliens. This would be the largest number of people granted US citizenship at one time ever, and virtually all of them are Third World Latinos from Mexico and Central America. This would be a HUGE shift in the demographics of the US. The vast majority of Latinos in the US have traditionally voted Democrat. If the Amnesty Bill is passed, the Republican Party would no longer be able to win elections in most states.
Why on earth would the Republican Party commit demographic suicide? Karl Rove and George Bush have a hair-brained scheme to change the Republican Party hoping that it will get a majority of the Latino vote. There is no evidence that this will ever happen. Perhaps, Rove and Bush think that the Latinos will be eternally grateful to Republicans for giving them a mass amnesty. Well, think again. The Republican Party freed the slaves, and Black Americans have consistently voted over 90 percent for the Democrats. Latinos have traditionally voted for the Democrats and nothing is going to change that. Latinos want a government that will give them all sorts of hand outs while loading up the middle class with ever-increasing taxes. As soon as they get Amnesty, they’ll forget who gave it to them and start voting Democrat.
Another reason for Senate support of the Amnesty Bill is that big business wants an endless flood of Third World labor so that Americans will never get good pay for any unskilled or semi-skilled job. While the Republican Party may be pleasing their financial sponsors by voting for an Amnesty, who do the Republicans think will be voting for them? Twenty million new Latino citizens would be a shift of nearly seven percent in the US population. Considering that George W. Bush barely got elected twice, a change this large would be the end of the Republican Party.
Thankfully the House of Representatives is much more responsive to the American people than the Senate. We can still lobby the Senate to kill the Amnesty Bill when it eventually comes up for a final vote, but it looks like the fix is in. We need to focus on lobbying the House, where at least they listen to us. Every House Representative is up for election every two years. Senators have six year terms and many Senators arrogantly assume that voters will forget about any treason that they commit especially if their next reelection is five years off. Perhaps, we should make a list of all the Senators who betrayed us on the Amnesty Bill, and e-mail it to all our friends every time an election is coming up until the last Amnesty-traitor is voted out of office.
