A Reuters article about South Africa reports “A woman is killed every six hours in South Africa by her partner and less than 40 percent of the homicides lead to a conviction, according to a new study. The study is further evidence of the deep social scars that remain a decade after the end of apartheid, a regime that provoked a major upsurge in violence and alcoholism and stigmatized and disempowered black men, according to analysts. ‘A woman is killed by her intimate partner in South Africa every six hours. This is the highest rate (8.8 per 100,000 female population 14 years and older) that has ever been reported in research anywhere in the world,’ the study says.” For the same category of murder in the US, the rate in 1995 was 0.48 per 100,000 which is 18 times less.

The Reuters article breaks the murder rate down by racial categories noting “The study found that women of mixed race are the most at risk of being killed by their partner, with 18.3 out of 100,000 dying that way in 1999. The rates per 100,000 for other racial groups were: African, 8.9, Indian 7.5 and white 2.8.” It’s no great surprise that the Black crime rate is about three times the rate for Whites. The most interesting statistic was that multi-racial women were the most likely to be killed. There’s an old saying that mixed marriages don’t work. Well, mixed offspring don’t have much success either.

It sounds as though the author was trying to blame Apartheid for the present-day murder rates. The truth is that South Africa is a majority Black nation in which Whites face increasingly confiscatory taxes as well as replacement by less competent Blacks to satisfy political concerns. No doubt all the stress from living in a society that is steadily falling apart thanks to a Black majority and Black rule has had a terrible effect on the unfortunate White couples, who have remained there.

Unfortunately the article does not give details about murders for the type of relationship with a Black male and White female. This “OJ-factor” could account for a large part of the increase in the murder rate. No doubt the number of interracial couples significantly increased thanks to President Nelson Mandela and the new leftist political environment. The Mandela government gave more high-paying government jobs to Blacks while taking away jobs from a considerable number of White males. Meanwhile, the nation of South Africa is going to hell.
